From a very early age Anna Sui wanted to be a famous designer. She went straight to design college from high school and after making the grade, ended up, like most becoming a design assistant. After landing a job at Glenorra (a trendy place to be) she was able to spread her wings and show the flair and skills that she is now known for today. The early eighties was the time to launch out on her own, which she did with the style and passion that we’ve all come to admire.
